Our friends Krissy and Nicholas had the Baby Brigade over to their house to decorate cookies the other week. I was amazed how clean everyone managed to stay and how many cookies were actually decorated!! The babies did great and after everyone had their fill we let them run off their sugar rush outside in the yard. It has been unseasonably warm for December but it worked out perfectly this day and we were blessed with beautiful weather. Carter wanted nothing to do with decorating (he kept saying, “Mess, mess!” and pointing to his cookie and icing) so he spent a lot of time coloring and running around the house. I only decorated one cookie and then promptly ate it so that I wouldn’t have to take the rest home and sabotage my holiday diet even more…it was totally worth it!
After a few spreads with his knife, C just wanted to know if he could eat his cookie and be done!
All the babies enjoyed eating their fill of icing and cookies! Such a fun idea and so much more successful than any of us thought it would be! Thanks for hosting us Bignons! More pictures to come tomorrow :)
