How to Prep a Turkey

This Thanksgiving the kids were left in charge of prepping and cooking the turkey. Mom, Dad, and Ryan hit the golf course and were gone for most of the morning so it was up to the rest of us to get the bird in the oven. I had no idea what went into prepping a turkey and thank goodness Kristin and Linc dove in to take care of it because it’s just plain gross!! Alex and I were not too far away and helped out by keeping an eye on the babies and snapping pictures of the whole ordeal!

Ok- once all that yucky was over with, it cooked for a few hours and turned into a delicious Thanksgiving dinner. We enjoyed all the fixins’ and managed to scarf down an entire day’s work in about twenty minutes hahaha. Carter did not eat a single bite of his food but Hattie tried tempting him with turkey legs. Don’t let that face fool you below…he couldn’t be convinced to try it! Oh well, more for us!

That is too funny! I have done it and it is nasty! Carter's outfit is really cute! And I am laughing at your cranberry sauce....my mom does the same thing with leaving it so you can still see the lines from the can it came out of...haha!
