No morning would be complete without some mommy and daddy snuggle time! These were taken a few hours apart when Linc and I took turns getting up for diaper changes. Unfortunately, when Linc gets up so do I but at least we're able to capture these precious moments. Don't worry- we were both (semi) awake during these snuggle sessions and we have never let Carter sleep with us in bed even though we would love to!
After letting us sleep in until 10:30 am, Carter meet his Auntie Alex on Thursday (March 11th). She had been with us the entire time in the hospital during labor, but unfortunately around 4am realized she was pretty sick and did not get to hold him once he finally made his debut. She is finally feeling better and was able to come up to our house and spend some quality time with her nephew. I felt so bad that it took so long for her to officially meet him, but I am sure they'll have plenty of opportunities to make up for lost time!
Another first on the sixth day was that Carter got a bath! He was surprisingly quiet during the entire thing. I was certain he would scream his head off but he really seemed to enjoy the warm water and scalp massage!

congrats to you!!! Our little one loves to have his hair washed too!
And look at all that HAIR!
That looks like a smile to me! Amazing.
Kelly, he is gorgeous!! I love that you are documenting each day!
He just keeps getting cuter every day!
He was so happy to finally be held by Auntie Alex, and she was thrilled too. We love that little boy!!!
I still can't believe how much hair he has, he is so cute!
My baby is counting down to his 13th birthday. Don't know where the time has gone. Enjoy every snuggle moment!
I love these pictures! And in the first line of your post, when I read "mommy and daddy snuggle time," I thought that meant you and Lincoln snuggling each other, and I was like, "Wow! You go!"
He is precious! I hope you're feeling rested enough today.
There is nothing like the smell of a baby. I almost took one of the hospital blankets to bring it home with me:)
Looks like he didn't even mind the hair wash.
I thought he looked so much like Linc when he was born, but now that he's growing I see alot of you, in his eyes especially. Great teamwork you two! See you soon<3
