Adding a Little Christmas Cheer

My new Christmas themed header was a welcome distraction after spending the afternoon in the hospital. My sweet little momma had surgery Monday morning to remove a sarcoma from her lungs. She made it to recovery a few hours later, very groggy and in a lot of pain, but she looked good and was much more on top of things than after her last surgery a few years ago! We were able to stay a few hours before she needed to go to bed but it was hard to leave knowing she had to stay the night by herself. We are hoping she will be allowed to come home sometime Tuesday afternoon.

The path we're on is not an easy one, but the doctors are confident that they were able to remove all of the cancer again this time (similar situation two years ago- different location inside her body). I trust in their God given talent and truly believe that through Him all things are possible, including my mom's healing! Thank you all for your continued prayers and encouragement.
