Uncle Shuck’s Corn Maze

For the second year in a row we loaded Carter up and took a short drive up north to Uncle Shucks! It was an absolutely beautiful fall day and perfect for running around in the corn maze and playing with pumpkins! C took a little nap on our way there so was raring to go once we pulled in to the field. We started with the corn maze and even though we got a bit lost it was still a lot of fun! The day definitely heated up so we all needed a long drink after traipsing through the corn and then we were ready for more fun. Carter got hold of his “ba-ba” and wouldn’t put it down for the rest of the day, but at least he was well hydrated ;) He tried feeding it to the goats, to the pumpkins, and to mommy and daddy. We were all too worn out for the hay ride at the end but it was a great day with our little family!

Carter wanted absolutely nothing to do with getting measured! We had to try again later!

Carter wouldn’t let me put him down for almost the entire 3 miles inside the corn maze. So much for running a muck! He wanted to be carried, and carried only by me, for the whole thing! Daddy tried to help out a bit to ease my tired arms but Carter just screamed and cried until I got him back.

love the squatting "how tall" pic, and the look on his face for the "please don't kick the pumpkins" sign, too funny!

What a great place! Love Carter's football outfit.

cute! I love your sweater, but your sunglasses are REALLY BIG ;)

If we can add corn mazes to the list of things Carter is afraid of, I assume Owen will also be scared. FAIL!
