Last year, the Baby Brigade went wild at Zoo Atlanta and this year we returned in full force with double the members! Kerri, Shari, me, and the boys carpooled together down to the city and it was quite an adventure trying to keep all three boys entertained in rush hour traffic! I’ll be the first to admit that I wasn’t being the best sport that day but I was pretty disappointed with the zoo this time around. It seemed like all the animals were either sleeping, hiding, or dead (just kidding…I think…) and there was hardly anything to look at. I don’t think anyone had children in mind when they designed this zoo because the babies cannot see anything from strollers. The petting zoo just had a few goats, sheep, and a fat old pig. Certainly not worth the two hour round trip drive. I mentioned to my carpool buddies that we would not be going back until Carter was old enough to actually see the animals by himself! At least we got to hang out with all our friends, but next time I think we’ll stick closer to home!!

That series of pics with the goat are too cute! Sorry it was a bust but looked like fun anyway!
I love those pics, and it looks like fun just to get out with all of the moms!
