The Sunday we were driving back from south Georgia, Carter and I stopped at my in laws farm to visit for a bit and go pick pumpkins! Sherry had a delicious snack waiting for us and after filling our bellies we drove down the road to Twin Oaks Fun Farm. Carter got to play in a corn box, we fed some animals in the petting zoo, we took a hay ride around the farm, and he got to run around and play on the play ground. We were also allowed to pick some tiny pumpkins to bring home and ate some farm made strawberry ice cream! Yum! We watched the farmer prep the fields for all the strawberries they would be planting in the winter before heading back to Bo’s farm. Some quick hugs and a visit with Bo and Mary and Carter and I hit the road yet again to get home before it was too dark. He watched a movie on the two hour drive home and only screamed his head off for the last seven miles. Not too bad! We drove 688.4 miles in four days and were SO happy to get home! It was an awesome long weekend and I’m so glad we were able to see as many people as we did!
Isn’t that playground amazing? Right behind it was the giant corn box. C loved it and I thought it was such a neat idea. This kid will NOT touch sand but he was all about the corn. He would have stayed in there all day dumping, throwing, pouring, and burying kids in corn. I really think we should get him a sand box and fill it with corn. I’m pretty sure he would be in baby heaven! Add it to the Christmas list!

OH MY - What a playground. Eva loves the corn boxes - who would have though dried corn could be so cool.
