One of the perks of being flown to Vegas (as if that wasn’t enough) was free tickets to the iHeart Radio Music Festival. On Friday night we dressed up and headed to the Grand Arena at the MGM Grand to watch the Black Eyed Peas open the show!! WOW! My first trip to Vegas, my first concert- it was awesome! They wouldn’t let us bring in cameras so I only have some crummy, blurry pics of our night but it was still a fantastic show and so neat to see all these artists together on one stage! At least we got one picture with my good camera before changing into our concert clothes! Can you tell I’m excited?!
Ryan Seacrest hosted and the Black Eyed Peas opened with some wild songs!
We had pretty decent seats for the concert but it was easier to take pictures of the monitors
since I didn’t have a zoom lens. Excuse the blurry quality, you can use your imagination!
Bruno Mars was one of my favorites. I love every single one of his songs!
Carrie Underwood was amazing and so, so pretty! She put on a great show!
Ignore the part in the video where I’m trying to sing…Carrie told me to do it…
So, unfortunately during the concert my cell phone memory card filled up and my tiny point and shoot camera ran out of battery! I was so mad they wouldn’t let me bring in my nice Canon but better to leave it safe in the hotel room than have to hand it over to security. The remainder of the night was incredible and included performances by Alicia Keys, Jane’s Addiction, Coldplay, oh, and did I mention Jay-Z?? I was feeling really good by the time he came on stage and all the videos I took I must have been dancing through the whole thing because they are so bouncy! Ha! I am also singing at the top of my lungs and having a great time. Hey- it was Vegas and the wine was flowing!
