I believe that God puts events and situations in our lives to help strengthen our character and mold us into better people. He never said life was going to be easy (or fair) though and sometimes it can feel like it's too much to handle. It is then, that I believe in the power of prayer and creating a united front. Many hearts can make a difference and help ease another's stress and worry.
I write this because I believe there are many of you reading who also believe in the power of prayer and so I ask that you would lift up my sweet momma this weekend as she deals with the ups and downs and roller coaster ride that we call cancer. If you have never met my mom, she is one tough little cookie...but even she can have her bad days. Please take a minute to ask God to be with her on this crazy journey, to calm her anxieties and give her peace, and also to be with her doctors as they make decisions in the next few weeks regarding her health.
We are all here for you momma and we love you more than you know! Stay strong and just know how many people are here supporting you, praying for you, and sending positive thoughts your way!

It sounds like a roller coaster indeed. I clicked over there to tell her that I will be praying and thinking of her.
I will be praying for her.
Kelly, your mom found me on just the second day of my blog that I started to cope with my husband's cancer.
She has been with me throughout our battles, and celebrated our victories. I hate that she is having to face this beast again, and only hope I can give her a fraction of the support she's given me over the past year.
I just wanted you to know that your mother is very loved and has many people pulling for her. I may only be able to reach out with keystrokes, but she is no less in my heart.
Be well and be strong.
Kelly, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Earlier this fall the doctors found a cancerous tumor in my moms colon. They didn't know it was cancerous until they took it out. My aunt was just diganiosed with Breast Cancer. I am just going to come out and say it "Cancer Sucks!"
