VICTORY!

If you can't already tell, I love tennis! I am very thankful that I am able to still play because this weekend Linc and I made it to the T2 City Championships. We played in the semi-finals on Friday night and were able to come away with a win that got us a seat in Sunday's match. We started off a little shaky and after a disappointing few games, basically handed our opponents the first set. It was pretty depressing and I got a wee bit frustrated. At one point (and let's blame this on the hormones...) I was crying during points.

After regrouping and focusing our energy, Linc and I turned on the heat and forced them to a tie breaker in the second set. I was ready to give up because I was sure they would take it, but we got point after point and won! The third set was definitely our best and we beat them in record time 6-0. Linc and I had found our stride (not to mention the guy had pissed us off so we played even harder) and boy did we want it!! It was a sweet, sweet victory and I don't think I have ever been so happy to win a match. Our opponent from Friday night came to cheer us on, and special thanks to Mom, Dad, Alex, and Stephanie for sticking it out and supporting us.

This will be our last season together for a while until after the baby is born, so I am especially happy we could end it with a major win! I love you Linc, you are a great partner both on and off the court!!

Great win for you two!
I was a little worried until the tiebreaker, and then you both let them know who the better players are! No doubt in that 3rd set whooping up on them 6-0!
Congrats to the new 3.5- City Champs!

It was a beautiful day to watch tennis!
