This past weekend Linc and I flew over to Charleston for his brother Cole's wedding. We arrived on Friday afternoon and attended the rehearsal so Cole, Linc, and youngest brother Madison could practice for the big day. After rehearsing, Sherry and Bo brought us to a cute little Italian restaurant they had rented out where we had some yummy food, spent time with all of the extended family and friends, and enjoyed Cole's 1 hour and 22 minute toast!! We ended up going to bed pretty early to prepare for the big day and called it a night after the dinner.

Can you tell I was exhausted?
Saturday morning we woke up and had breakfast in the hotel with fellow groomsman and long time friend Alex. We met up in the lobby with a few of Cole's friends from high school and spent time catching up. After showering, Linc and I headed over to
The Pavilion where Alex was enjoying the rooftop views of the harbor. We stuck around for a delicious lunch and finally tore ourselves away from the beautiful scenery and amazing weather to get ready for the wedding! We took a cab to north Charleston where the boys got in their tuxes and I helped bride Leslie get in her dress!
Sherry, me, and Bo before the wedding! The ceremony began at 2:30pm and was very lovely. Aunt Jane sang Amazing Grace and Ave Maria and Cole and Leslie exchanged vows, rings, and sealed the deal with a kiss! We stuck around for a few pictures and then drove out to a country club for the reception. We had such a good time and it was nice to be able to spend the weekend with family and old friends.
Waiting patiently for his bride.

End of the reception-- waiting to ride off into the moonlight!Sherry got some amazing pictures of the wedding, so I might have to repost this once she sends them to me! After the reception we all went back to our hotels, changed into comfy clothes, and headed to Coast for dinner. Leslie and Cole met up with us a little later and we all spent the rest of the night dining on seafood and telling stories. Linc and I walked back to our hotel with long time friend of the family Clay and crashed for the night around midnight.
Leslie- welcome to the family sister! It's nice to finally have another girl after 9 1/2 years of fending for myself! Cole- I love you bro-ther. Linc and I are so proud of you! We wish you guys the best and many many years of happiness together! Can't wait to see you soon!
