Halloween Party

The Saturday before Halloween we joined the Woomers for an adults only Halloween party! Matt dressed up as Santa, Becky was the elf, I was a cowgirl, and Linc was a ball machine. It was an interesting night but the best part was running into an old friend I hadn’t seen since high school!!! What a small world. Turns out her husband works for the same game studio that Matt used to work for and the host of the party also works for. The boys had all run into each other at various events and even played basketball together but Alice and I hadn’t seen each other in 9.5 years. I’m so glad I was able to spend the night catching up with her. We all agreed there wasn’t enough food or drinks, but a great party nonetheless. Our host Chuk goes all out for Halloween. The two weeks before the party he moved out all the furniture from his house and started decorating with fake walls covered in blood, spider webs everywhere, and other super creepy touches. These horrendous movies were playing in the background, a coffin held all the drinks, and a bonfire was roaring in the back yard. It is always an experience and I'm glad we went!

Carter got to spend the night with Hattie and Poppy and even played a round of Scrabble!

That freaky zombie would be our host Chuk all made up. See why it was adults only? YIKES!

Wow, Chuk looks even more awful in photographs than he did in person.

But WE look adorable and that's what matters!!! My favorite part was hanging out with you guys.

So neat that you ran into your friend. It is kind of a small town!
