Sunday Silence
I am the thorn in Your crown
But You love me anyway
I am the sweat from Your brow
But You love me anyway
I am the nail in Your wrist
But You love me anyway
I am Judas’ kiss
But You love me anyway
See now, I am the man who yelled out from the crowd
For Your blood to be spilled on this earth shaking ground
Yes then, I turned away with a smile on my face
With this sin in my heart tried to bury Your grace
And then alone in the night, I still called out for You
So ashamed of my life, my life, my life
But You love me anyway
It’s like nothing in life that I’ve ever known
Yes,You love me anyway
Oh Lord, how You love me

My Sweet Nephew
What visit would be complete without a photo shoot? Baby Nathan is five months old and we took some time to document him at this completely adorable stage. I love his chocolate eyes and his tiny baby coos. He is just so tiny too- exactly half the size of his giant cousin!I got a chance to be alone with him and Carter for a few minutes at a time and I almost thought I could handle having two. But then Carter would throw something at Nathan’s head or try and body slam him and then I wasn’t so sure hahaha

A Visit to Orlando
My mom managed to snag us some awesome flights to Florida so the other week we flew down and visited Kristin and Nathan. Ryan was out of town for a conference so it was the perfect weekend to hang out, see their new house, and get lots of quality time with my nephew! They live in an awesome neighborhood within walking distance of some delicious restaurants. Two of the nights we were there we loaded up the boys and took a scenic walk to get food! We went on a little shopping spree and also spent lots of time crafting and making the boys matching Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas shirts! It was such a fun, low key visit and exactly what we needed.

Punkins
Kinsey Farm has some of the most unique pumpkins we had ever seen! Carter was infatuated and spent lots of time looking at them, sorting through, and picking his most perfect punkin! My favorite were the candy corn ones. They were shaped like baseballs though so I’m not sure how they got their name!

More from Kinsey Farm
Make sure to check out yesterday’s post to see more about the Baby Brigade’s fieldtrip to Kinsey Family Farm! On October 18th the BB went on our first fall field trip. We were supposed to go the week before but the weather has been crazy and we got rained out. The forecast was calling for rain again but you can see from the photos that we managed to beat the storms! It was a pretty warm day for October but still beautiful out! Around the middle of our day we hung out with the animals at the petting zoo. Carter is still scared to death of all of them, but the other babies had a great time.
This is pretty much as close as C would get to the petting zoo. Oh well!
After the petting zoo the other mommies went to seek shade to finish their lunches. Before joining them, Carter and I walked to the front of the farm and had a mini photo shoot! I would have loved to get a shot of all of the babies in front of the sign, but maybe next time.
Laurie made us some yummy cookies! Carter LOVED them!
One more day of pictures coming up! I can’t help myself when we’re all together!

Kinsey Family Farm
Baby Brigade Goes to the Farm- October 18, 2011
The other week our play group took a field trip to Kinsey Family Farm. It was a beautiful (although a bit toasty) day and the babies had so much fun! We checked out the pumpkins, went on a hay ride, fed some huge catfish, and toured the petting zoo. We ended the field trip with a little lunch and some yummy cookies from Miss Laurie and then we were on our way home. I really want to come back when it’s a little cooler out and spend the day touring the farm but I’m glad we could go with all our friends!
I didn’t realize I brought a tiny man to the farm!
I don’t know how I missed getting a picture of Beth and Trenton :( sorry guys!
You thought that was all the pictures? Hahahahaha…continued tomorrow ;)

Baby Brigade Sprinkle
The Baby Brigade recently turned eighteen months old and even though I sound like a broken record by now, these girls are so amazing and I love all of them!! We have so much to be thankful for including our group growing in numbers! Our second generation of Baby Brigaders will be welcomed starting in November and the best news is that come spring we won’t just be welcoming four new babies…but SIX! One of our mommies is pregnant with twins and we couldn't be more excited for her! That’s all the detail I can go into for now, but we can’t wait to “sprinkle” this sweet momma and her tiny little miracles with love in the new year!
The other night we celebrated four of our mommies to be with a group shower! All of the girls gathered for food, fun, and presents. It was such an amazing night surrounded by my favorite ladies! We toasted to healthy pregnancies, fast deliveries, and babies who sleep through the night at eight weeks old ;)
Top Row: Anita, Shari, Allison, Julie, Kerri, Halie, Me
The Mommies-to-Be: Beth, Nancy, Laurie, Kasey

Sunday Silence
Live Like We're Dying
Sometimes we fall down and can't get back up
We're hiding behind skin that's too tough
How come we don't say "I love you" enough
'til it's too late, it's not too late
Our hearts are hungry for a food that won't come
We could make a feast from these crumbs
And we're all staring down the barrel of a gun
So if your life flashed before you
What would you wish you would've done?
Yeah... we gotta start
Looking at the hands of the time we've been given here
This is all we got and we gotta start thinkin' that
Every second counts on a clock that's tickin'
Gotta live like we're dying
We only got
86,400 seconds in a day too
Turn it all around or to throw it all away
We gotta tell 'em that we love 'em
While we got the chance to say
Gotta live like we're dying
Rejoice now while you can

Down on the Farm
Carter had so much fun at Twin Oaks. Make sure to check out yesterday’s post to see more! We had an inkling that C is afraid of farm animals but this trip definitely confirmed it! He wanted absolutely nothing to do with feeding the goats or sheep and almost cried when the alpaca and donkey came over. Oh well! He had a great time exploring the playground, climbing through the tunnel, and climbing to the very top! We squeezed down the slide just in time to go on a hay ride and made some new friends in the corn box. It was such a beautiful fall day and we can’t wait to go back in November and New Years! We’ll have to make a special trip in the spring too to pick the strawberries that were about to be planted! Yum!
Kisses for the pumpkin!
Thanks for having us Sherry! We can’t wait to come back and explore the farm more!
