First Art Project

It has been so incredibly hot here that playing outside isn’t even remotely fun. Carter and I have been trying to find creative ways to pass the afternoon and I finally remembered to bring out the art supplies. C has pretty good fine motor skills and since he hates getting his hands dirty I knew he would enjoy and could handle using a paint brush. We poured out all the colors, set up a make shift easel, got nakie (just him) and set to work! Carter loved mixing the colors and rubbing the brush all over the paper. I was so happy to see his final creations and even framed three of them in his playroom!

I love that you're encouraging him to be creative. Next you can try playdough. If he doesn't mind touching it that is ;-)

Whoa, that looks fun! Especially the belly painting part.

Look at your framed masterpieces! Loe that he hates getting his hands dirty - but his belly is open for some art work!
