Sunflowers

There is a beautiful field of sunflowers near our house and the other day I went over there and made friends with the woman who owns the land! I wanted to be able to walk around her property and take pictures so I thought it would be a good idea to get permission first! She was so friendly and helped me cut some flowers to take to my mother. They have a farm stand at the edge of their driveway where they sell the sunflowers and allow visitors to tour their old barn. I can’t wait to go back and use the field for family portraits since Carter was a less than willing baby model! Despite being sick he had no interest in sitting still! We had been cooped up in the house all week and I think he was taking advantage of the fresh air and freedom! It was certainly much easier taking pictures of the flowers, but we had lots of fun!
