We didn’t let the rain stop our fun on Fourth of July! Normally we would go to my parent’s house at Lake Oconee but since my mom was still recovering from her surgery we stayed in town and watched the fireworks at their club. The weather forecast was a bit iffy but we dressed up and headed to dinner in hopes that our evening would end with a fireworks display! We managed to secure the best table in the ballroom with a clear view of the driving range which was where the fireworks were set to go off. After eating, we could see the rain moving in and people rushing inside to find a dry spot to watch the show but thankfully we were already comfortable and had the best seat in the house! The show went off once the sun set and we were able to watch from the comfort of our chairs. It was a fun day and I’m glad we were able to cap it off with some beautiful fireworks!
We were supposed to have a tennis tourney but since the weather
wouldn’t cooperate we spent a lot of the day relaxing at my parent’s house!
