The days leading up to Carter’s party I started cleaning and getting organized. My mom had purchased a Groupon for us that was for a cleaning service and I had them come over on Thursday to help me out! It ended up taking them 5 1/2 hours to finish! We were expecting my sister, her husband, and my cousin on Friday evening so I tried to get as much done as I could before they arrived. My mom, aunts, and grandma came over to help with some decorating on Friday afternoon and ended up taking Carter back with them so I could finish running errands. We had dinner at my parent’s house afterward and then came home to rest up for the big day!
After dinner Carter got to open his birthday present from Hattie and Poppy!
My dad hand made a train table for him complete with track and trains! What a great surprise!

Everything was perfect! From the party decorations and favors to the yummy food, the fun daytime outings to delicious family dinners. We all had a great time together!
Dad did such a good job on the train table, the finish is beautiful. Carter may be a little young for it right now, but will surely enjoy it as he grows up.
