A "Sucky" Kind of Day

Don’t let these pictures fool you…if Carter didn’t have his pacifier in he was crying, whining, moaning, and just generally miserable. We’ve been having a rough couple of weeks as we wait for molar 1 and 2 to make their appearance. I hate teething because I hate seeing my sweet happy boy transformed into a mopey, clingy mess. Poor C has had a runny nose and the constant drool from these teeth coming in is giving him a rash! He has also been practicing standing without holding on and has three bruises across his forehead! What a mess! The only silver lining is that I can finally see white caps where the molars are pushing through so hopefully the end is in sight!

Oh I KNOW those molars are so tough! Nora got all four of hers in within the last few weeks.

And of course, with the runny nose comes a full on cold, which EVERYONE then gets.

Hang in there! Not sure what time his big party is this weekend, but I would love to get them together at some point with K in town!

Jaxson is going through the SAME thing right now with the molars. Ughhh it's sooo miserable and his poor little face is so broken out too! I've been putting aquaphor on it and it clears it up for a little while, along with the greasy face. Errr!! Poor babies!!! =(

oh I feel your pain!! Lofton had one molar pop through last week, and 3 more on the way--it has been a drool-y, cranky, whiny mess at our house for several days. Hopefully Carter's will pop through soon! Happy early birthday to both of you guys!!

thank goodness Auntie Kris got him to take that paci months ago when he was a young Bub.
He'll have so many people to play with and to hold him this weekend, he's sure to be happier, right?!

teething is so awful and seems to last forever!!! It should make you feel better to know that looks adorable during it all!
