Carter’s actual birthday was on Saturday so we decided to have his party that afternoon. He woke up a little earlier than usual but thankfully in a great mood! We had a nice morning with our company and then C went down for his nap. While he rested I put the finishing touches on the party and got myself ready! My bestie from college Candace and her son Griffin arrived early and thankfully we got to spend a few minutes catching up with them before the madness began!
All of our relatives came at the same time and my friend Shari, her husband Bill, and baby Spencer arrived and helped with some last minute preparations! I was really happy with how everything turned out but was still stressed the entire time! No wonder I never host parties! I hope everyone had a good time because I feel like I didn’t get to socialize with anyone! Here is picture overload of the big day!

We had almost 40 adults and 15 babies! It was a full house!
Carter got a lot of fun presents for his birthday and we are so thankful that all our friends and family came to celebrate with us! Everyone was very generous and he is going to have so much fun trying out all his new loot! Thank you to everyone who helped with decorations, food prep, keeping C occupied so I could get stuff done, and for traveling so far to spend the weekend with us. We have such great memories of his first birthday and are so happy with how everything turned out! Stay tuned tomorrow for a video of his smash cake and more pictures of this special day!

Looks like a total success!! I loved the decorations, especially the streamers on the ceiling! Everything looked great!! I was stressed during Westin's party too. :)
Everything was perfect! Looks like so awesome gifts. We can't wait to come play with all the new stuff! And I too loved the streamers on the ceiling....you might see that idea again in another week!
