After four weeks of sessions, countless videos, discussions, and practice Linc and I graduated from our Labor and Delivery Class last night! We had a small group of couples that all happen to live right near us and a very bubbly instructor that broke down the basics for us. Most of the girls aren't due until April, but we started an email chain to keep everyone updated on our progress and how delivery goes. I am also hoping we'll all be able to get together again once the babies arrive to swap tips, ideas, and just have some adult time with someone going through the same experiences! Everyone in our group (except Cara) is having a boy so that's pretty exciting too! Here are a few photos from our last class...
can you tell who is due first?!The L&D LadiesCara, Katie, Me, Jill, and MelodyeOur class
Cara and David, Katie and Scott, me and Linc, Jill and Dave, Melodye and JeremyI did not feel ready for Carter to come before this class- mentally or physically- but as the weeks have gone on I feel more and more prepared to welcome our little miracle into the world. As of today at 2:45pm I could take the remainder of the school year off if I needed to. So Carter, this is your official invitation to come out whenever you are ready! Your daddy and I can't wait to meet you!

What a wonderful experience for all of you. So glad you got to go through the whole class, and yes, you definitely look like you'll be first!
I am so looking forward to meeting baby C, xoxox
ps...I love Katie's red jacket, the style hardly makes her look pregnant.
I have a mutual friend with one of your class buddies! Small world again! Yay for being done with class and SO close!!
You're the cutest mommy to be! Love all the pics and can't wait to see your little one when he makes his entrance. It is an incredible experince...I am so excited for you to meet him :)
You girls look like you are lined up for a pregnant pageant. And of course you would be the winner!
hmmm... Now that you mention it Becky, with that curtain backdrop they do look like they're in a police line-up. Who's the guilty one? Looks like you're all hiding something under your shirts!
That is great you has such a small group to share in the experience. I also know one of the girls in your group too!!!
