Little Rock

Lake Oconee that is! We are out at my parent's lake house for the Fourth of July and began the celebration by spending the afternoon in our favorite spot. Tucked away in a cove not too far from the house is our very own "little rock" that we like to anchor near. It is so peaceful and pretty out on the water and we take our tubes and float all afternoon long. We used to jump off the rock and play games but now we like to be a bit more lazy!

Tonight we will take the boat out to the Ritz Carlton to watch their fireworks show. It is always spectacular and I love driving home at night watching all the boats out on the water. Tomorrow will be another sun-packed day at the little rock and then another fireworks show up the lake at Great Waters.

We're having steak on the grill tonight and I cannot wait! I love the lake and am so glad we're here to celebrate with my family. Tomorrow also marks the fifth anniversary of when Linc and I got engaged! How fun that we'll always have fireworks to remember that special day! Hope you are having a safe and fun filled weekend!
