Our 5th Anniversary

On June 2^nd Lincoln and I celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary! The day couldn't have started out any better because Carter slept in until 10 am and I was able to catch up on some much needed rest. We had to miss play group but it was worth it because we got to spend the entire day together as a family! Linc worked from home and we had a delicious picnic lunch (inside because it was nearly 100 degrees out!). A mid day delivery brought with it the most beautiful and fragrant bouquet of flowers and I was so excited for my surprise! Carter and I spent the day playing and distracting his daddy and then around 5:30 my mom came over to baby sit. Linc and I got all dressed up and headed out to dinner at Rice. The food was absolutely amazing and we had the best Sake I have ever tasted! It was the perfect way to celebrate our anniversary and I couldn’t have pictured it any other way!
