Carter is very fortunate to have a huge collection of books (thanks to my years of teaching). Every time I would order books for my classroom I would picture my future children inheriting them and getting countless hours of enjoyment out of the stories! Carter’s new favorite activity is to thumb through the books by himself and babble. I wish I could understand the stories he’s telling because they sound like they would be amazing! Of course he would much rather read than pose for photos, but I had to try anyway!

I'd say you did pretty good with getting him to pose--those pictures are adorable! My preschooler has recently decided that when she's done smiling for the camera (which lately is about two shots!) she can block the picture with her hand! Yes...it totally reminds me of the old "talk to the hand" days!
