Carter and I have been getting in the spirit by reading all of our winter books (hence the name of the title). When we woke up on Monday morning there was six inches of snow waiting for us to play in! The pups had no idea what to do and it was so funny to watch them try and run around the back yard. The top layer of snow was pretty frozen so they could stand on it for a few seconds before it gave way.
Carter is actually not a fan of the snow. I am not sure if it’s the snow itself or the fact that he is so bundled up he can’t even move. I could not get a smile out of this child to save my life, but he still looked adorable dressed up as a little snow bunny! We spent a lot of time outside on Monday because I love the snow and was trying to get C to enjoy himself. A runny nose and some rosy cheeks was really all I got so we turned in and warmed up inside. I took about a million pictures inside too, but you’ll have to wait until tomorrow to see them ;) Got to have something to post about since we’re stranded at home.

it's so pretty! i wish we could see jax in the snow - she'd be a natural! at least wessie and tessa had fun, even if C did not. ;-)
