On Sunday Carter turned nine months old! Every time a month ends I am so surprised. When I was working it seemed like the days draaaaaaaaaaaged on but now that C and I are at home together I am shocked when it’s time to put him to bed each night! He is at such an amazing stage right now and I think these past few weeks have been my favorite so far. He is still growing like a weed and topping the charts in the 94%ile for weight, 90%ile for height, and 99%ile for head circumference! That poor boy didn’t stand a chance considering the size of his mom and dad’s noggins!! Hahaha
Here is what else Carter has been up to recently:
- Crawling at break neck speed
- Pulling up on everything
- Attempting to cruise on the furniture
- Sleeping about 10 hours, eating around 6am, then going back to sleep for two or so hours
- Wearing anything from 9 month to 18 month clothing depending on the brand
- Loves eating puffs, baby goldfish, string cheese, and anything mom and dad have
- Some days eats solids, some days nothing but we’re obviously not worried!
- Nurses 5 times a day
- Wearing size 4 diapers
- Got his first haircut at 39 weeks 5 days old (post to come)
- Loves drinking water from a sippy cup

I love this stage too. He'll only get more curious from here on out as he gains mobility and explores. Everything he can touch will still first go in his mouth, ha! So much to discover and learn. Fun times for all of us!
ah! so glad to see that Carter is not chowing down the solids three times a day either...
What BIG boy! Owen has dropped the 6am go-back-to-sleep feeding and I am very, very sad about this. No cuddle bug in the morning anymore :(
Carter is so big and SO adorable. Great job Mama!!
