How is this going for you? We have that same cup and I found that it leaks everywhere. I only put water in it right now and Owen still hasn't a clue. He refuses to drink from a bottle and I have to be away from him for a block of time this week so we got him to drink out of the cheap sippy with three holes. It makes a mess...but milk does get in his mouth.
He seems to be doing great with the sippy cup! Ty doesn't want anything to do with it! We have the same sippy and I've tried another one too. Arggghh! :-)
His Hattie will answer... Carter loves that cup! He drinks water only and gets most of it in his mouth, but also likes to chew on the nipple. Teething will do that!
We have those same sippy cups! Lila loves them and they don't leak!
9 times out of 10 he is only chewing on the nipple, but every once and a while he will get a good latch and chug some water! I keep the cup in the fridge so it's nice and cold and I think it feels good on his teeth!
I screw the top on VERY tight but so far we haven't had any problems with the cup leaking-- C just makes a mess anyway ;) I have heard the Playtex cups are good too (picked up a few on sale at BRU), but the nipples aren't as soft and C did not have a clue what to do with them. I put them away until he is older.
We have that same cup too and have retired the playtex ones until Spencer is a bit older!So far so good :-)
