July Fourth Fun

On Friday morning Carter and I packed our suit cases and joined my family out at Lake Oconee! Poor Linc was not feeling well and decided to stay home with the dogs and get some work done. We had beautiful weather the entire time and spent four days out on the boat! Carter is becoming more and more comfortable in the water and even gave me a few chances to float around while he napped in my arms!

That evening we had a yummy dinner and then took the boat out to watch the fireworks at the Ritz. They always put on such a great show and it is so nice to be able to watch from the water. Baby C slept through most of the show (it didn't start until almost 10pm!) and was lulled to sleep by the rocking of the waves.

On Fourth of July we woke up late, headed out on the boat, and spent the day at little rock. We had a picnic lunch and hung out with the Harvey family. That evening we went over to their house by boat to watch more fireworks from the dock. Carter and I ended up staying inside because it was a little damp out and the bonfire was too smokey! He took a cat nap in my arms while I watched Iron Chef America!! Hahaha We had a great night though and enjoyed the peaceful ride back home in the dark.
