My Singing Boy

Carter decided that plain old talking was not doing the trick. Nope. Apparently we weren't listening closely enough! Now he has to scream all of his stories and comments! He is so loud and thinks it is just hilarious! He ends up cracking himself up the louder he gets. What started off with us getting ready for bath time turned into him telling me ALL about his day and singing along to the music!

Hmm...what should I do with this?

That's not where that goes silly boy!

Mmmm...delicious!

This boy always has something to scream about!

But he looks so cute doing it, so I don't mind!!

Miles Comes to Play and Carter Cuts a Tooth

After play group on Tuesday, Kerri & Miles came back over to our house to hang out. Unfortunately, C was not in the best of moods because that morning he had cut his first tooth!!! That's right- at four months, three weeks, and one day old baby C sprouted his first little incisor. Unknown to us at the beginning, C was running a bit of a fever but he managed to be a great host and entertain his buddy for a bit so the mommies could hang out!

What?! I have teeth?!

Hard to see, but it's in there!!

Poor guy was having a hard day =(

Baby Miles

I love it when the babies hold hands!

Thanks for coming to play with us Kerri and Miles!!

Boys Day Out

On Tuesday our group mixed things up and went to story time at Barnes and Noble instead of the pool. It wasn't the most developmentally appropriate activity for young babies, but still a nice change of pace! And while we were there we figured it wouldn't hurt to grab lunch, so the mommies headed to Cheeky's for some yummy Mexican food!

Story time put Baby C right to sleep!

It was a boy's only day of fun!

A Post About Poop

This Sunday we went out to lunch with my family after church. I heard Carter go potty but since I was almost done with my food I figured he could wait the two minutes it would take us to get home. Little did I know the horror that waited for me when I lifted him out of his car seat.........

My sweet angel before church
The "surprise" that was waiting for me when we got home
We stood staring at each other for a few minutes before I could process what to do. Should I pull the clothes off over his head? Try to slide them over his shoulders? Finally I just dove in and pulled everything off as fast as I could. We ran to the bathroom and Carter went right into the sink. He loved every minute of this and was laughing the whole time. I was not as amused, but after seeing his face once he was clean and dry I couldn't help but laugh too!

So pleased with himself!

The First Annual Baby Brigade BBQ

On Saturday afternoon the Baby Brigade met up at the Gordon's house for our very first family get together. Despite the torrential downpour that threatened to squash our plans to grill out, the whole night went off without a hitch! Eventually the rain stopped, the grill was fired up, and the BBQ began! All the March Mommies were there with husbands in tow and it was the first time that every single member was together under one roof! With ten babies around it made for quite a fun evening and we had a great time socializing, watching the babies play, and posing for our infamous couch pictures!

Me and Baby C ready to party!!

Carter and the Pups

Up until recently, Carter was unaware that we had dogs. But just last week he really started to pay attention to our four legged family members. We even caught him giggling at the pups and reaching out to pet them! (ignore my picnic lunch on the floor...)

This video was so much better in real life but the camera died halfway through. Oh well, sharing it anyway!!

Boys Day Out

On Wednesday Carter and I got to spend the entire day with Shari and Spencer!! We had so much fun and were worn out after eight hours away from the house. We played, went out to lunch, played some more, had some mommy time, and just enjoyed the day! Both boys showed off their rolling techniques but you'll see from the pictures that C wasn't too thrilled to have remembered this skill! He hadn't rolled in weeks and was terrified after doing it!

Getting the boys packed up for play time!

Having so much fun!

Hmm...those are the faces of little trouble makers!

Mommy and her little sailor man!

Enjoying some tummy time together!

Where are you going baby C?

Rollin, rollin, rollin

Ta-Da!

Oops! Someone got scared after flipping over!

Worn out and needing some serious snuggles!

Mini Road Trip

Carter and Spencer love riding together to play group!

Slumber Party

A few nights ago Carter and I put on our jammies and went over to Shari and Spencer's house! The mommies were having Girls Night In and the babies were having their first "slumber party!" Although we didn't stay the whole night, we managed to talk until 11pm before realizing how late it was!

Hey Spencer! I love your jammies!

Sweet boys! The first of many more to come ;)
