One of my boys came to school this morning wearing a t-shirt with a picture of the rapper TuPac on it...
smoking marijuana...
with glitter and sparkles all over the joint.
I just do not understand how his parents could possibly think that would be acceptable in SECOND GRADE!! Some parents...wow...and people wonder why I want to home school eventually!

did you send him to the office to see the higher ups? I'm SURE that's violating the dress code. His parent's need the reprimand!
yup - private school or home school for my kids, for sure.
my mom teaches first grade and she has a kid that throws desks :) (he also threatened to stab himself in the neck with a pencil because she wouldn't let him have more time on a spelling test...oh, and he had to be escorted out by the police because he refused to leave the building during a fire drill. yeah. first grade.)
